"Originating in the classic block front cabinet designs of the 1930's and 1940's, this chest features an intricately stepped facade with both vertical and horizontal projections. Each Endicott piece is fully reeded, representing the most developed use of this technique in the collection. The nickel hardware is based on the knobs of the 1940's credenza in
my office at Aero; we have previously adapted the form into hooks and hangbars for the Donna Karan Collection store in Geneva."
