For over forty years Bob Timberlake has captivated people around the world with his art, his furniture, and his life. A renowned American realist painter, Bob Timberlake has taken the details and textures of rural North Carolina and translated them into a lifestyle that reflects the beauty and honesty of simple living.

Welcome to Monarch Fine Furniture for Century. This amazing collection of English reproductions features a variety of old world techniques including fine marquetry, églomisé, and gesso. These eclectic designs are the perfect accent to any room.

Following the success of The World of Bob Timberlake®, Bob founded Bob Timberlake, Inc. Today, under his watchful vision, Bob Timberlake, Inc. licenses products in over 20 categories. With this success has emerged additional furniture collections, Bob Timberlake Apparel and the expansions of Bob Timberlake retail galleries in Lexington (established 1977) and Blowing Rock, North Carolina.

The collection is named for a charming coastal town nestled on the Tyrrhenian sea. Caperana has long inspired authors, philosophers and artists. No wonder. It's paradise for the senses: soothing sunlight, brilliant blue water and sweet breezes that waft over lemon trees, olive groves and lush thickets of herbs and flowers. Caperana is crafted in the country Italian tradition and exemplifies this attitude.

Century Classics includes the best furniture designs from the following collections: Silk Roads (#50), Camden Passage (#52), Savoy (#56), Matilda Bay (#57), Sun Valley (#61), Georgian (#62), Grande Pacific (#63), Madera (#64), Zen (#65), Claridge (#67).

“The vision for Century Icons is to find and work with our industries’ greatest design talents, to understand the soul of their work, and then bring that to life through our craftspeople in Hickory. To me there is nothing more interesting than a group of artists in concert together where their unique personalities enhance and highlight each other. This is what we intend with Century Icons—to show great furniture design and designers as they relate to one another.”

From the storied streets and rich history of Lyon and the countryside that surrounds it, comes the inspiration for this collection of furniture by Century. We have selected a variety of materials including walnut, cherry, maple, mahogany, pecan and in many places used cast iron moldings to accentuate the wood. Each piece is then hand distressed and finished in a warm, honey, brown finish to create the feel of gently aged and loved antiques. The result is a beautiful and casual collection that is comfortable in today’s homes.

Inspired by the rich history and storied traditions of the English hunt clubs, Century has created a collection of furniture that is at once of the moment yet timeless in its design. Chelsea Club evokes the grandeur and ease of the English countryside through its dressed-down, traditional styling. Architectural details carved in mahogany combined with sophisticated scaling, and a warm, rich, Cognac finish bringing to life a more casual elegance. Classic, clean and fresh, for today’s new traditionalists.

The Chelsea Club Collection includes occasional, dining room, and bedroom furniture. Each piece is crafted in Mahogany with Mahogany veneers. Antiqued brass hardware enhances the depth of our Cognac finish, which is standard for the collection. Finishes may also be customized with any of Century’s fifty finish offerings.

Veneers, Stone, Finishes...
Chin Hua is a collection of unique materials. A range of wood species has been selected to achieve the designs. Ziricote selected for its fiery patterns and depth of color, Maple Burl a tight and beautiful veneer pattern, Primavera a controlled veneer with limited movement, and Satin Walnut for its rich, mineral streaks. Each species takes finish differently and as a result, there is uniqueness to each piece. Complimenting the woods, Century has created three finishes that amplify the natural patterns in the veneers Malachite, a rich green, Sapphire a luminous blue, and Garnet a spicy red. These three stains act like precious stones giving a setting that extra sparkle. Pakistan green onyx, black nickel plated metal, acrylic, antiqued mirror, textured slate and glass are all used to accent the wood.

We have combined two of our favorite French collections into one great collection. Bordeaux/Couer de France.

The city of Bordeaux has always been associated with fine wine. It is also rich in culture, history, art and architecture. This combined with the lush gardens, white stone facades and cobblestone streets inspired the designs in this collection.

Coeur de France is an eclectic gathering of Country French designs. Literally translated as "Heart of France," Coeur de France captures the essence of French design and craftsmanship in the use of familiar forms such as bombé chests, cabriole legs, classic rococo details, and low-sheen finishes that emulate the effects of time.

Continuing Century's trend of offering collections in distinctive finishes and combinations of wood, stone and metal, such as copper and iron, Bordeaux and Coeur de France offer more to choose from than ever. Two new themed finishes - French Blue and Wheat.

Consulate is inspired by the furniture designs of the era following the French Revolution, the age of Napoleon Bonaparte, who came to power in 1790 and was finally defeated in 1815. During this time there was a resurgence of classic Greek, Roman and Egyptian forms and the overall effect was a "pairing down" of excess. Sophisticated and refined, the pieces in Consulate blend elements of Empire, Charles X, Louis XVI, Directoire and Biedermeier. The extraordinary veneers give each piece presence and power while the clean lines and soft forms make them timeless, able to hold their own in any room whether its a nineteenth century design or a very modern one.

Located in the heart of the Andalusia region on the sun-drenched coast of the Mediterranean and in the shadow of the La Concha mountains lies the city of Marbella. It is from this storied city, whose history combines Roman and Moorish influences, and the picturesque lands that surround it that Century draws inspiration. A collection of European designs, all pieces are bench made with rich hand carved details in mahogany, walnut and oak and use old world techniques that only the most skilled artisans still know. The hand distressed cases also feature a beautiful waxed finish and hammered bronze accents.

Many people in upper income brackets are downsizing: to luxury lofts, apartments, condos, and—the latest innovation in urban living— condo hotels. Some are empty nesters who no longer need all that room; some are young professionals with no time for a long commute; still others are city-lovers of all ages who like being within walking distance of restaurants, shops and clubs. And while such dwellings have far less space than mega-homes, the space they do have isn’t cheap.

Metro Luxe is international-scale furniture designed for cozy, yet elegant living spaces; it has the sleek styling, refined details and fresh finishes for which Century is known.

As environmental consciousness grows, furniture design has also become more organic. Century, with a lot of help from Mother Nature, follows this natural direction to create Milan an eclectic collection featuring warm wood and metal furnishings.

Encompassing bedroom, dining and occasional pieces, Milan pays homage to the minimalist design themes fashionable in Western European cities. But its serenity is not what one usually associates with contemporary furniture.

New Traditional strikes the perfect chord between ‘classic’ and ‘chic.’ It has the comforting familiarity that we associate with traditional furniture, yet it also has a dash of élan that makes it relevant.

Contemporary is one of the most difficult words to define in home furnishings. It means different things to different people. Some view it as stark, unadorned by ornamentation. And some see it simply as clean lines, angular hardware and gleaming finishes. Century's Omni collection can be defined as COOL - POWERFUL - CURVACEOUS - UNDERSTATED - GEOMETRIC - SOPHISTICATED and WARM.

Based on Mr. de la Renta’s own designs, as well as adaptations of extraordinary pieces collected over the past 40 years. His furnishings, like his clothing, represent great taste, refinement and elegance.

Oscar de la Renta Home is inspired by the furniture found in Mr. de la Renta's three very different habitats: his New York City residence, his country estate in Connecticut, and his oceanside island retreat in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The result is a collection remarkable for its scope and variety - from sophisticated, 18th Century inspired mahogany pieces, to casually inviting upholstery, to Caribbean woven rattan designs.

Pulling from the Art Deco movement that began in Paris in the 1920’s and grew throughout the 1930’s, the Paragon Collection by Century embodies the aesthetics of this era with glamour, function and modernity. Symmetrical and linear forms are carved from mahogany and feature Mozambique veneers as well as metal accents. Available in the rich Paragon finish as well as Century’s offering of other finishes, Paragon is a sophisticated and timeless collection that speaks to today’s contemporary audience.

We all dream about great antique finds. Everyone hears of old pieces being rescued... at estate sales, in attics, and from old barns. We thrill at the discovery of found treasures and look forward with anticipation to the special place these pieces will have within our hearts and homes.

Century Furniture's Town & Country Collection features 17th- and 18th- century English and French country designs. Each piece is a showcase of solid silver maple and veneers detailed with wide-planked boards, scrolled metalwork, composite details, and brushed metal hardware.

Thrill at the discovery. People will ask where you made these wonderful finds, so tell them... at an estate sale, in your grandmother's attic, out in a barn. Only you and your furniture will know the truth.

Subtleties in Detail. From clipped corner detailing and slight reveals to carved diamond faceted framing, shadow box molding that envelops the case to soft hammered silver hardware accents and carved saber legs with eight facets, there is subtle complexity in every piece of Tribeca which reveals itself in degrees the longer you gaze.So go ahead and stare,we promise it only gets better.

In the late 18th and early 19th centuries, when French and English palace décor set the styles of design, royal excesses of the past had become insupportable and were rejected in favor of simpler, more classic designs.

Greek and Roman principles of design were dictated by Napoleon in France, while King George IV of England embraced a more pure standard for his court. The result became defined as Neoclassic and Regency styles that inspired the Wellington Court Collection some two centuries later.

Wellington Court embodies refinements of this era with its styles that bespeak old wealth and high station without need for ostentation.
